You will build your knowledge and skills through participation in ongoing face-to-face and virtual learning sessions; hands-on use of new technologies; and implementation of student learning activities focused on the Partnership for 21st Century Skills Framework for 21st Century Learning. This differentiated professional development program will assist you in learning more about content that is important to you and in providing rigorous, relevant instruction that is meaningful to students. Program Goal: To impact student achievement by increasing teacher use/implementation of 21st century tools, concepts, and processes for instruction. Expected Outcomes:
Increased teacher knowledge of 21stcentury skills
Increased teacher implementation of 21st century skills during classroom instruction.
Increased student engagement.
Increased collaboration among teachers from across district.
Increased student collaboration using web 2.0 tools.
Increased campus and district capacity for 21st century teaching and learning.
